I've often wondered about a similar stat...how many NHLers score their first career goal against Dom. Not a knock on Dom at all, it just always seems that goals he would give up during the regular season seemed to be firsties for an inordinate amount of players. Always found it amusing. Dom's probably like, "Well, I'll let them say that they scored first against the Dominator..."

Guh, I hate this nervous feeling. I was nervous before...without Franzen, I'm a mess. But I have beer. And I have faith in our boys.

Let's see if my Lids jersey can improve to 8-0 tonight. If we can pull out a win tonight, Dallas is really in trouble. Look at their history in the previous two series. Win the first two games on the road...and then win the series in six. Dallas has already lost one of two on the road, so if they struggle tonight, it's a good, good sign for us. Let's hope our offense can keep firing on all cylinders (and our defense along with Ozzie can back it up).

Yeah, I had to deal with that old argument on another message board, providing proof that it doesn't apply this season (meanwhile, Detroit goes 12-1 against the "tough" NW Division). Oddly enough, no one had any comebacks for that.

QF-Effin'-T. I'm also sick of the whole excuse that everyone's using that Homer's goal shouldn't have counted. Turco initiated contact coming forward, plus Homer didn't impede Turco's movement in the crease.

And thus breaks the streak of Dallas winning the first two on the road. If we can pull out another win on Saturday, I think we have a very, very good shot going into Dallas.
