I wouldn't be surprised to see Forsberg in. Smyth being out is a bit of a surprise, though. Didn't think that shot that he blocked did all that much to him, but apparently it did.

One thing I found interesting is that he's not even close to leading the Pens in ice time this postseason. Heard on XM yesterday that Therrien's got four skaters on the team with more ice time than Crosby (which made me wonder if Therrien's giving that time to more defensively responsible players once they have the lead, etc.). With that said, I don't think the Pens' successes (or failures) in the postseason will fall solely on Sid's shoulders. If Crosby was the only dynamic scorer on the team, perhaps...but they're spreading around the wealth of scoring and right now, they look like the favorites to come out of the East.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong - I want Theodore in. To borrow a phrase that someone once used to refer to Turco...if you crack open Jose's head, Red Wings fall out.

I'm genuinely surprised. I didn't think Quenneville was that stupid. But hey, our boys know how to beat Theodore, so all the better for us. And Franzen proved today that he can beat Budaj, so we're fine either way.
