Sadly, it's not just the TSN crew that's like that either. Burke ALWAYS seems to pop up on one of the XM Home Ice shows and they just fawn all over him. That's always my cue to change the channel. I remember one time, one of the guys on XM actually said something critical of Burke (I know, shocking!). Burke called in...and suddenly that person's critical opinion did a 180, so as not to upset the mighty Burke. -
I believe I did as well. I wasn't scared of the Ducks this season.

Few seem to remember that Niedermayer's return didn't spark the resurgence of the Ducks - Selanne's did. They started to win a handful of games upon his return...and then started losing in bunches again. It wasn't until Selanne returned that they really started being able to string together wins. Add the fact that he was a -2 for the season (the half that he actually played).

Huh. So Burke tries to make things look legit (or he's pissed that Needavacation's waffling cost them position for the playoffs and ultimately, the first round). And now the LEAGUE is trying to bail out Niedermayer so he doesn't have to pay the fine. Burke/NHL Front Office Conspiracy is officially back on!
