Even MSG+ isn't keeping up their end of the deal here in the NY market. They're showing some boxing retrospective instead of the game.
-
So, let's see here... The Pope is more important than golf. Golf is more important than hockey. Therefore, NBC sucks.
-
Brilliant. NBC is still showing the Pope. NBC 4.4 is still showing golf. MSG+ is showing something on Mike Tyson.
-
MLive confirms... Arnott out with a concussion (Poile is stupid enough to think that he'd be good to go for a potential Game 7) and Legwand is back today, bone bruise and all.
-
Okay, NBC 4.4 better start this game for me at 3, because if this game gets pre-empted by both the Pope AND golf, I'm gonna be pissed. EDIT: Ah, forgot that I have MSG+ to back me up too. Wonder if the HD channel will get the HD feed.
-
Don't get ahead of yourself.
-
If Arnott DOES play in his condition, I'd wager he may actually do more harm to the team than help.
-
I'd like to see him go to Toronto. Because frankly, that would be hilarious.
-
Huh. The Freep apparently says differently (per TSN). Who's usually more reliable?
-
Well, at least I picked Colorado/Minnesota exactly.
-
Wow, Gaborik only had a single point in the six-game series? Ouch.
-
In any case, the Avs are the first WC team to advance.
-
Damn. The Avs look scary good.

Personally, I like the one I got for Christmas from the wife. http://shop.nhl.com/product/index.jsp?prod...dy_bestsell_img

That's sweet. Love those kind of overhead pics.

Let's draw a parallel here. Chelios didn't shake hands with the Ducks last year. However, I couldn't blame him for that because the Ducks went around trying to deliberately injure players and honestly, if he went in the handshake line, he would have had to skip at least half of the team for that. Avery, meanwhile, was just annoying. Didn't try to injure Brodeur (hell, Marty's the one that punched HIM in the face), didn't try to injure Brodeur's teammates, but instead was just merely being an annoying pest on the ice. It's in a completely different league than the Lemieux handshakes (which, like Ciccarelli, I can't believe they shook his friggin' hand) and the Chelios snub. Brodeur should have let bygones be bygones, shook his hand and said, "You're an ass...but good luck in the next round." Even Patrick Roy would probably have shook Avery's hand and we all know what a class act () Patrick is.

If Bettman wants to ban this, the next logical step is to ban the throwing of hats on the ice after a hat trick. Because, you know, when people toss the hat, there could be matter flying from the hat - stray hairs, sweat, etc. This is just another sign of Bettman and Campbell being firmly in the pockets of Brian Burke and doing whatever he tells them to. I'm struggling to figure out why anything hasn't been said by the league about the catfish in Nashville. One of those actually physically damaged the ice upon its impact, but nothing's been said by the league about it. Figures.

Well, at least I've got channel 110 to rescue me...

Draper says: Tootoo intentionally stepped on my back
edicius replied to Frozen-Man's topic in General
As much as I hate Tootoo...it does just look like he stumbled. -
Wow, could Versus love Anaheim any more?
-
And of course, a HUGE dive by Anaheim leads to a Dallas penalty. BS. EDIT: And of course, the cheap-shot artist scores on the ensuing PP.
-
Getslaf with a cheap shot to the head of Ribiero. No call.
-
Even a Devils fan I know (yes, they do exist!) said that it was a ****** move by Marty and that he lost a lot of respect for him.
-
I just don't understand Pronger as a Norris winner. He's a goon and lacks common sense on the ice. I don't see this stellar defensive ability.
-
Another Ducks penalty? EDIT: Yup, Chrissy got a penalty for roughing. Obvious one too and he's like "Wha? Wha? I'm just big, I couldn't help knocking him over my goaltender!"
