I wouldn't be totally heartbroken if the Sharks took it all. They've been "that team" for the past few seasons and they deserve some playoff success. Obviously, I'd prefer the Wings win it all, but if the Sharks do it, it won't kill me. As long as it ain't the Ducks again.

It was a vicious, late hit elbow to the head of Cheechoo. Should have been reviewed by the league, but I doubt we'll see anything. I saw it live during the game last night and I was furious...especially since there wasn't even a penalty on the hit, despite it happening right next to one of the officials.

3/6 on Friday, thank you San Jose. Who thought the Isles were gonna beat the Devils? Yeesh. If it hadn't been for that and a lost shootout by the Rangers after a nice comeback effort, I coulda been 5/6. Curse you, hockey gods!

Confirmation that Giguere is, indeed, injured: The extent of the injury is uncertain, but it looks like he'll at least be out for the weekend.

Because they're the Ducks, duh. Seriously, like I said...I know they're the most penalized team in the league, but I'd like to know how much power play time opposition teams get against the Ducks. If the refs are constantly evening out the penalties and not leaving the Ducks shorthanded, the whole "most penalized" label is a misnomer. Hell yeah to the Sharks for winning in regulation. And hell yeah to JR for his league-leading 12th GWG of the season.

Do the Sharks always give out sticks during the 3-star selection? That's neat. Roenick's getting a standing ovation from the crowd. They can't even interview him because of it!

Schneider plows into Nabokov, no call. I swear, I know the Ducks are the most penalized team in the league...but they're STILL not penalized enough. Sharks win. Hells yes. Ducks held without a single shot on goal in the entire 3rd period. How about that offense, eh? And I'll say it again...Kunitz should be suspended for that headshot to Cheechoo.

Anaheim being outshot 15-0 in the 3rd period with only 2:19 left in the 3rd. And seeing the last saves by Hiller, he should have been called for holding. That was ridiculous. Kunitz just took a run at Cheechoo, late hit and elbow to the head. Goon it up, goon it up. Kunitz should be suspended.

Giguere's missing from the bench again and NOW Hiller's hurt. They just stitched him up (puck to the head), but that's gotta rattle him something fierce.
