Am I the only one that's been furiously reloading TSN all day with nothing new to report?
-
I think it truly started when Cleary got injured. From there, it just snowballed.
-
See, at least you get me, dude.
-
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. What'll the Ducks do without such wonderful leadership?
-
For all you people bashing Sundin (and like Ozzie30 said)... Imagine we never won our Cups in '97, '98 and '02. Imagine that our team wasn't going anywhere by 2004. Imagine that Ken Holland would give Stevie Y a shot at going to a contender to try and capture that elusive trophy. And imagine Stevie Y said no, declined to waive his NTC and insisted on staying with the Wings. Would he be a dick? Would he be selfish? Or would we praise him for his loyality? Then again, knowing how fickle Wings fans are...

Don't forget that he's a bit of a media ***** too. He always feels the need to insert his two cents into a discussion on, well, anything. And the media, foolishly, grants his wish. You don't see Ken Holland in every article about ANYTHING on TSN; Brian Burke, though, he's got soundbytes popping up at least a couple times a week.

It figures that the ONLY game I've missed in the past two weeks...was the Colorado game. I'm bad luck, people.
-
That's game.
-
The D definitely plays a role there. Our D is doing a good job in our zone, but it's those breakout passes that Lids, Kronner and Raf provide that spark the offense. These young defensemen don't have that with this squad right now and it's hurting the offense.

He's been snakebitten since the no goal against Anaheim.
-
Another PP. Can we decline?
-
Another wasted PP. I don't care if the refs don't give US any more PPs, as long as they don't give the Canucks more phantom ones.
-
Same as last night, Furlatt and Martell.
-
Meanwhile a phantom call leads to a Canucks goal. Doesn't quite seem the same.
-
Knew that was gonna happen.
-
Guh. PK upcoming.
-
Missed tripping call as Hudler went to the net.
-
That was a FANTASTIC job of quickly dishing that puck back to the blue line by Homer and then Homer and Dats creating congestion in front of Luongo. THAT'S the way it's done. Meech with the goal, Homer and Zata with the assists.
-
And unless our offense can put one past Luongo, we're already done tonight.
-
Meech is back.
-
Great, now Meech is hurt.
-
No call? No surprise.
-
Howard benefited from an early whistle there. Phew.
-
Naslund off for tripping. Watching the replay, that was a makeup call. Borderline trip.
-
And the refs are already favoring the Nucks tonight. Downey in the box for unsportsmanlike.
