Definitely not enough. Should have been at the very least a suspension for the remainder of the season, including the playoffs.

See, this is why our team is so beloved...they're human beings and damn it, they're fun guys! I can imagine that if I had the opportunity to sit down and have a beer with someone like Draper, I'd initially be starstruck of course, but I think I'd get relaxed pretty quickly with such a character. Another thing that makes hockey great, I say.

At this stage of the season, I don't even think Pronger's in the running statistically either. Last I saw, he was a -2 on the season.

What you neglected to mention, however, is that McKenzie kisses Burke's ass whenever possible. That said, any statements he makes on the whole situation are rather biased and intended to make Burke look as good as possible. No dice.

Oh, believe me, I'm sore as hell. I'd stick to soup and coffee if it wasn't for the fact that my wife is forcing me to eat solid food. And even then, any time I eat anything that entails actual chewing, I'm in a good amount of pain afterward. I'm hoping that the soreness will subside within a couple days. Of course, then I go in for my first tightening in about a month and then it all starts over again...

Wow, I didn't realize Anaheim had that many games ahead of all the other teams. That makes Anaheim's record look even worse than it is. And makes Burke's decisions looking that much more foolish.

Agreed. I didn't like the fact that Forsberg sat out the entire season like that and was miraculously back in time for the postseason, but at least there was an injury behind it. Niedermayer is just a tool and that's all there is to it.
