Fox already cut out of the celebration, unfortunately...so no Papelbon dance for me. Which means the Wings damn well better win this game. It'll hurt my weekend picks, but I can live with that.

This damn Sox game is driving me to drink. 4-3 Sox, entering the top of the 9th. Wow, SOG are 20-16 already? I think this is the most SOG we've allowed in a while.

God knows we need some of that too. If our other lines are starting to mesh, it's a great sign of things to come (although, I worry a bit when Franzen returns).

I believe so, that's one of the reasons Cashman's not pursuing him. Last time I saw a Wings game at the Joe had to be back in '98 or '99. I was there for a couple Joevision games in '02, but it ain't the same. Same goes for the last Wings/Devils game I saw out here (but at least they won 2-1). w00t!!!!! SAMMY!!! Make those shots count.

He opted out of the extension from the Yankees and Brian Cashman said that if A-Rod opted out, he wouldn't pursue him in free agency. You and me both. It's a shame that the Wings ain't coming to the East Coast this season. Hmm, surprisingly high shot count this early in the game. For you guys that are watching it...quality shots?
