PP upcoming. I hate to admit it, but the penalty calls are really skewed against San Jose tonight. However, they appear to be legit calls and it's not an endless parade to the box. Hell, our only penalty so far (knock on wood) is Downey's fighting major.

Looking at the shot totals, I'm once again dumbfounded. Only six SOG for the Sharks? How is that possible? Ozzie's made more saves than that, this period alone. Weird.

According to NHL.com, Thornton got two for roughing and two for tossing the puck out of play...even though it wasn't him that tossed the puck out. So, right call, wrong guy.

That's a really odd call by the refs. I'll take it, but as a Sharks fan, I wouldn't be pleased with that at all, having a PK guy out for four minutes.
