I think it actually IS a WMP plug-in running the feed, but...well, it installs with Windows. So...yeah. Heh. But if I'm viewing any other media files, it's all VLC for me. No more worries about codecs, plays well with subtitle files and so on. I love it. A VLC plug-in that would approximate the WMP plug-in would be teh win, no doubt.

Eww, just as bad! VLC Media Player for me. I've been against going anywhere near iTunes ever since a friend of mine installed it and it completely rearranged his MP3 collection to such a point of complete and utter NON-organization. I just wish Optimum TV would get off their asses and get me some NHL Center Ice so I don't have to deal with ANY radio feeds!

If you get one of those standalone DVD recorder units, it's pretty easy. My DVR has a "copy to VCR" function that'll dump it onto a DVD recorder.
