Actually, I think Lowe's move was infinitely more tolerable than the crap Burke is doing now to "suspend" the former captain just to make a salary cap grab. I'll laugh if the Ducks tumble down the standings so far that even Niedermayer can't pull them out of the tailspin when he inevitably returns after the All-Star Break.

Plus the puck never would have gone to Bert if not for a lucky deflection off Lilja's skate. His other point was just a right place, right time play. And hells yes, Turco looks fantastic tonight. I have no idea how the Avs didn't score there. It's weird...I don't mind Dallas and Colorado anymore. Never really had much of a problem with Dallas, I guess. And the Avs, they don't have the goons of past and they have a hell of a captain in Sakic.
