Going from one to the other, the drop in quality is really noticeable. But I guess riding horses in a circle is more important to see in crystal clear HD than a hockey game. Me too. WHAT A SAVE BY MILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, so NBC finally did it and cut hockey for ANOTHER horse pre-race thing? It's not even the @#$%ing Kentucky derby! Embarassing. And there goes my HD feed too. I knew NBC was going to do something stupid like this during an elimination game. "Oh, but it's the Kentucky Derby!" "Oh, but it's the Preakness!" "Oh, but it's the Tiddlywinks World Championship!" What a @#$%ing joke. Go Sabres.

Damn, if anyone else ripped the officiating and the disciplinary committee like that...well, they'd get another suspension. And they say Cheli's a crybaby! Pronger's just pissed that the Ducks actually performed BETTER without him in the lineup.

If I recall correctly, didn't Pronger skate away from the hit laughing? I'd love to see the disciplinary committee take that into account as well. Both Pronger's action and REaction were disgusting. (And on another note, w00t, my first pinned topic! )

I was thinking the same thing. I don't even remember McLennan getting called in for a disciplinary hearing; that one, I thought, was just a phone call, suspension and fines given, all done. With Pronger actually being summoned for a face-to-face hearing, the odds say that a suspension will follow.

The media tide is turning on Pronger and the Ducks, that's for sure. Listening to XM this morning, listening to a call-in from one of NHL Home Ice's regulars (can't remember who it was), he said of the Holmstrom hit: Add them to another group calling for a Pronger suspension.

One of us...one of us... Heh, just kidding. Glad to see a Sharks fan honestly appreciating our team, though. Hey, everyone's gotta have a second favorite, right? If Pronger gets suspended, I'll be amazed. He's Anaheim's star and the league doesn't want to take away a team's star player. Every time I see him play, though, I'm thankful that we have Nick.
