And again, Anaheim effortlessly clears the puck from their zone. They're playing flawlessly tonight.

We definitely don't have to worry about Dom. This is the most focused he's been all postseason. He's being a lot more careful playing the puck (still makes my heart stop anyway ) and his Paralyzed Snow Angel of Defeat has morphed back into the Slinky For A Spine we all know and love. Problem is...Dom can't score goals for us. And that's what we need in this series. And THAT was the first good chance I've seen from us in ages. We need to get Jiggy moving a lot. Doesn't help if we can't cycle the puck in their zone like they do in ours. AND DOM WITH ANOTHER GAMESAVER!

That's what it comes down to. And we're going to have to watch the Ducks try and trap it out for the rest of the game, which is going to make our offensive chances even harder to come by.

Pronger was obstructing all over the place last game. Some of it was borderline, but others, it was like he was an overcoat on a Wings player. Pollock and Shick in the stripes tonight. Draw your own conclusions.

I guarantee that if we started taking liberties with the Ducks, they'd call us on it. We just have to work through it. I really didn't like what I saw in the first with apparent runs being taken at Dats right from the get-go. Could just be coincidence, dunno. In any case, it didn't amuse me. Big thing is, we need to be able to get the puck out of our zone. The Ducks were having their way in the zone most of the period, making 5-on-5 look like a power play for them. That shouldn't happen.

Whenever I think Eddie Olczyk, I think of the guy who couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag with a talented Penguins squad.

Since last game. Dom got nailed in the face repeatedly by McDonald.

For those of you who don't have Versus, I'll give you a small snippet of their broadcast: "Mmmm, Ducks, so biiiiiiiig...Pronger Pronger Pronger...mmmm...huge!" I wish I was kidding.

Babcock needs to give them hell between periods. This isn't the way you want to come out in a Game 2.
