BS penalties aside, I think that was the best first period of hockey I've seen from us so far this postseason.

Yep, Anaheim's gotten away with at least 3 obvious obstruction calls by my count. Pronger had two of 'em. Did he obstruct his way to a Norris nomination or something?

According to Brian Engblom, Anaheim's gameplan involves McDonald punching Dom in the head. Brilliant.

Seems to keep up pretty well too. The Game Summary is always good for keeping track of penalties and such, but SOG and goals are usually pretty delayed. The Real Time scoreboard is good for both.

I'm curious who made the call there. If it was Koharski, it wouldn't surprise me. Devorski usually isn't too bad. GREAT first period for us, especially with all the time on the PK. Ducks PP Time: 4:38 Wings PP Time: 0:08

I would like to punch Bill Clement in the junk. I've heard enough of his idiocy on XM today, don't need to hear more on Versus. Whoa, end to end action...that was a nice chance for Homer. And before that, Lilja's turnover...if that puck wasn't going wide, he would have had it all. Good make-up play.

I think that's the first time all season that someone's called me optimistic. But hey, the PP worked once this game... Lebda looks like he's moving well, even better than last game. It's a good sign.
