I'll throw in some goalie stats too, just for fun. 2007 postseason so far, not regular season. GAA Hasek - 1.57 (ranked 5th overall, 10 GA in six games) Nabokov - 2.39 (ranked 11th overall, 18 GA in six games) Kiprusoff - 2.81 (ranked 13th overall, 13 GA in five games) Oh, but GAA is more of a team stat, right? Okay then... SV% Kiprusoff - .929 (ranked 5th overall) Hasek - .922 (ranked 9th overall) Nabokov - .902 (ranked 13th overall) Just something to ponder.

No, no, like we owned you in '95. BTW, season series' don't mean a whole hell of a lot when the postseason comes around. You should know that. Or did you forget that the Sharks split their season series with Nashville 2-2, with one loss being a 5-0 drubbing by the Preds?

Well, I'm counting on utter confusion in the Sharks' ranks because of this snippet from the AP: Good job, Sharks! You were watching what is ultimately a completely different team than has been seen in the postseason! Shouldn't they, I don't know, be watching videos from our first round series? Oh well. Their loss. Let them revel in wins against MacDonald, Ozzie and a regular-season aberration against Hasek.

There you go. Anything of mine that ends up cursed/losing its good luck is usually clothing. It happened to my Zetterberg jersey after Game 3. Right now I'm riding the luck from my Bernie shirt into the 2nd round.

Yeah, I'd DVR it too...but I'd end up spoiling myself before ever getting a chance to actually WATCH the thing. Besides, I wouldn't get to enjoy the GDT if I DVRed it.

See, I have the same problem here in Jersey, except after I tell them I was up late watching hockey, they say something like, "Oh, hockey's still going on?" Seems to take away some of the shine off that badge of honor.

The NHL needs to do something about Officiating

NHL referees are consistent. At being inconsistent. That said, Game 6's officiating seemed pretty even-handed, although it almost seemed like the two calls on us in OT were to even-up things after the 4-minute high-sticking call on Calgary. I don't quite understand the logic, since the high-sticking call HAD to be called whereas the other two were borderline, at best. We won anyway, so I'm not going to worry about it right now.
