Wow, nice shot, Andreas.
-
Wow, uh, was that a power play? Sheesh, power OUTAGE.
-
*sigh* Remember the days when a Wings PP meant aan almost-guaranteed goal?
-
The Bert-tuu-tuu-tuzzi train? Oh wait...
-
PP coming up. Kudos to the fan in the front row right where the trip occurred with his "WTF?!" gesture.
-
What did he say?
-
Tollefsen injured himself though...check Bert and you're in for a world of hurt.
-
Bertuzzi just took out Svitov...dayum.
-
Just looks like he got his bell rung by Markov's skate.
-
Dom's hurt.
-
They just showed Bobby's stick. *giggle*
-
Rounds one and two on sale now! Optimistic, aren't we? (I know, I know, they always do that... )
-
Er, what was that, Dats?
-
Dom called for tripping. The CBJ player really sold that one.
-
Nash hooks Bert, PP coming up.
-
If we win tonight...and Nashville loses, we clinch the Central. Nice. Lilja cleared the zone on a PK...? Whoa. </Keanu>

Looks like Schneids is out tonight too. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...0440/1128/rss16

Nah, the ultimate Wings presence in a movie (aside from Cameron in Ferris Bueller) is the Yzerman mural plain as day in "The Island".

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking this too. Lightning rarely strikes twice in the NHL.

I have a feeling he may have a little bit more difficulty finding a new one this time around. Who's going to want to work for Lou when you could get fired at the drop of a hat, even when extremely successful? The only halfway decent people he's going to get behind that bench are going to be from "within" the organization (like Pat Burns coming back). Otherwise, it's going to be coaches desperate for a job with zero job security. That said, I'm going to make a silly prediction... Ken Daneyko behind the bench.
-
I might spot Lou one playoff series, depending on the matchup (last year's matchup against the Jagr-less Rangers wasn't much of a challenge). When Lou went up against the Canes, he was just outcoached.

Quick Kenny! Fire Babcock now!
-
That's exactly how I see it too. We'd turn Minnesota into the next Cinderella team.
-
Phoenix. But seriously, there's no one team that I'd prefer. The West is so tight this year that there's not a hell of a lot of difference between the number one and number eight seeds. If anything, I'd rather go with the devil we KNOW rather than the Devil we DON'T know. Minnesota is the former. Teams like Dallas, Calgary, Anaheim and Vancouver are the latter (although Luongo adds a new element in Vancouver).

Lamoriello's a fool. The only reason I could see for him firing Claude Julien is for some personal reason, like he slept with his wife or something. Beyond that, this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. EDIT: Grammar.
