I saw next season we stock up a serviceable cache of defensemen in GR...since our defensemen just seem to be on a revolving door of injury.

Oh god, not again. For Kronner, if it wasn't for bad luck...right leg injury. We have a major problem now.

Nashville - 9:59 of PP time. Detroit - 5:01 of PP time. They had almost TWICE AS MUCH TIME ON THE PP as we did. And they're whining. Logic does not seem to be their strong suit in Nashville.

Yeah, I was reading the recaps and couldn't help but laugh when Trotz and the rest of the players basically went, "Waaaaah! Waaaaah! We have injuries! It's not fair! We want a do-over! Waaaaaah! Waaaaaah!" And they say that Cheli's a crybaby. On our recent four-game losing streak, did we blame injuries? Nope. The games may have been different with our injured players in the lineup, but we lost because we didn't play hard enough - simple as that. Excuses are for losers - or the Predators.

Well, you'd be confused too if the cheerleaders were your sisters and wives. I'll admit that I may have seen wrong, as I barely saw what happened (was back and forth between the TV and the monitor, caught the tail end of the Drapes takedown) but since Drapes was moving into the offensive zone, I didn't see any logical reason for him to bring down Radulov...of course, logic doesn't always apply to Kris Draper. But true, the Franzen call was ridiculous. It was just a sign of the regular "Hey, the game's almost over and the Preds aren't winning or tied yet, so Mr. Bettman said we had to give them a power play in the final 3 minutes of the game" actions of the refs.

I think they were REALLY confused...it was Drapes that got dragged down, not the other way around...and Franzen came out of the box and made a nice defensive hit at the blueline to turn over the puck. He came out of the box and the Nashville player wasn't paying attention. Keep your head up, kids.

Oh, see, when Zidlicky was in the paint, Osgood just got "bumped" by him. But when Vokoun trips Franzen, it's goaltender interference all over the place. Good effin' night, Crisp and Weber.
