-
Nope, I thought it was pretty funny too...and then I realized it's still scoreless and a tear came to my eye.
-
Franzen's due. He's really been hustling out there.
-
Tripping on Svitov, right off the faceoff.
-
Bertuzzi tapes his knob. Er...
-
This should be interesting.

You win the thread. That's probably the best way to sum up this entire debacle.

And ironically, isn't that what most people use as justification for their dislike of Ozzie? He'll make big save after big save...and then let in a stinker. It happens to all goaltenders. Dom made an error in judgment. A goal was scored as a result. The person that's probably the most pissed off about it...is Dom himself. That said, Dom has to realize that the refs are rarely going to call such things in his favor, so embellishing - or we can just call a dive a dive - isn't going to help us. It's more than likely going to hurt us, either in the form of a goal against or a diving penalty against. Does that mean it should be open season on Dom for other teams? Hell no. But he needs to choose his battles.
-
Which, of course, means he'll likely be working every game during our first round series.
-
Ordinarily, I'd say it's the latter...but I also read that Ozzie's getting the start against St. Louis this weekend too, so it makes me wonder. In any case, we're fine in net. Can't wait to see Bert out there tonight. I'm going to be uncharacteristically optimistic tonight...6-2 Wings.

Just got into work and saw the score from last night (I hit the hay uber early last night). Glad to see my Bulay Bulay Bulis mojo worked last night.
-
I want to see a goal from Bulay Bulay Bulis!
-
I shall still stand by my prediction of last week that Edmonton will not win another game this season.
-
Yay, long unscreened shots on Kipper. Is it 2004 again?
-
Wow. Nice start, guys.
-
Slashing. Maltby.
-
And they're also the exact opposite at home - best in the league.
-
I would love, love, love to see a Wings/Devils matchup...for selfish reasons, of course.
-
Anyone else need more proof that the rivalry's over? I should be here for this one...but like some of you, I still feel uneasy over these trips through Western Canada. The Flames are insanely good at home. The next best teams on home ice are...well, us and Nashville. I had a bad feeling about the Vancouver game; I've got a worse feeling on this one, since Calgary's fighting for their playoff lives. 3-1 Flames.

Glad to see I went 4/6 on Sunday...although I don't know what possessed me to pick both Los Angeles to beat Anaheim AND Phoenix to beat Dallas. Yeah, the first one worked out for me, but still...
-
Exactly, it was a slip up and no one got hurt. It's not unlike the newscaster who was trying to talk about the "top cop" somewhere and accidentally (repeatedly) kept talking about the, er, head rooster, if you get my drift.

The Pens are the 05-06 Dallas Stars of this season.

See, this is why I admitted I could be wrong. Since you've watched the games, you know better than I. Sounds like OT and the shootout aren't exactly planned for them, unless giving up the lead is some sort of brilliant plan of which I can't figure out the details. Hmm, intriguing. So Fleury's good on breakaways, as it were? -
Okay, gang, getting a little off topic here... This is about Vladdy, not his marriage.
