Nah, you're always good in my book, even if there's a case when I disagree with you. Wings fans always seem to be good with the octopi though...one at a time, usually, not five at a time.

I'll admit that we might have some degree of homer glasses on...but there are certain broadcasts that are just BEYOND annoying, beyond the realm of homer perception. Nashville is one. San Jose and Los Angeles are the other two.

According to the Nashville broadcast, the refs only called that because they were "bored". WOW.

And they billed the Edmonton game as "against the defending Western Conference Champions"... Perhaps true in a technical sense, but I think they're trying to fool any potential ticket buyers into thinking the Oilers are actually GOOD this year.

Oh, so the refs DO know what a slash is. As long as a Detroit player is committing it. And I retract bashing Lang for that last missed shot. The ice is s*** out there. He couldn't get good control of the puck until it was too late.
