Wow. Kenny did something. And you know...even if it doesn't pay off, I'm gonna give him credit for pulling the trigger and at least TRYING. And it doesn't even seem that he overpaid either. If we don't reach the Conference Finals, it's just a prospect. Not too bad a deal.

That single statement in that article made it lose all credibility. Kronwall hasn't even had a fair shake to have "a history" of doing such things. They seem to have no problem with players like Torres or - last year - Pronger having a history of such actions when they actually DO have a history. MacT is just pissed that last year will prove to be a fluke for him and the Oilers.

You know...I've gotten to the point where I'm not expecting to get Blake, Lapointe, Bertuzzi or anyone that will be useful in the playoffs. Therefore, I escape disappointment and could be pleasantly surprised.

Am I the only one who doesn't totally fault Ozzie for that first goal? He clearly got a piece of it - just not quite enough. Second goal was a softie. Third goal was a deflection. Fourth goal was a beautiful feed from Kariya to Forsberg - it was going to take sheer luck to stop that one. Apart from Holmstrom, Osgood was the best player on the ice tonight, hands down.
