Nice no-call, refs.

I'm betting Pittsburgh. You heard it here first.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

That sounds pretty good. I'll have to see if my place carries it.

Very crisp and effervescent. Doesn't have an overly fruity aroma, but a nice, subtle pomegranate finish at the end. Was almost cider-like. I'm usually a bit weary of stouts, but the last two I've had (the Fuel Cafe, along with Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout) have been surprisingly light stouts. We have a tendency to score in bunches in the 4rd when we're not behind, right? *crossing fingers*

White is so damn good at the blue line on the PP. Franzen getting punched in the back of the head again...
-
Detroit PP. Amazingly.

Just finished a bottle of Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat myself. Moving on to a Fuel Cafe Coffee Stout next. Not a lot of shots this period. Unsure if I should be concerned or not.

What the hell? One of our guys does that and it's a penalty, easy.
-
Hudler to the box. Nice.
-
No interference there?

There goes the PP.

Nobody panic; Shero proclaimed that they're making the playoffs. So he must have gotten a call from Bettman or something.

What a laser by Flip. WOW.

Feck. What the hell...

Penalty shot?

That's weird. Jimmy Devellano and I had lunch yesterday and he said they were going with a package deal, sending Hank, Dats and Conklin to Anaheim for Perry, Getzlaf and Hiller.

Might have made some sort of monkey "Ook ook ook!" gesture.

Full list here: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=76666 Glad to see there's some sanity and Fleury and Rinne aren't among the goaltenders. Lack of Lidstrom and inclusion of Ovechkin are still curious, however. SUSPEND HIM! SUSPEND HIM!

I honestly don't think Dats will be playing tonight. Khan said he looks tentative and isn't skating in line combos.
-
I want to see a blowout. In our favor, of course.

Conklin wasn't the problem last night. After the stinkers he let in during the Chicago game, he locked it down and despite the final score in last night's game, I thought he played well overall. One soft goal last night, but the rest were deflections or bang-bang plays on which he could only pray that the puck would hit him. Defense was atrocious last night and the offense wasn't firing on all cylinders either. Sure, you can say that we gave up 5 goals, but I didn't see any help coming from the offense with only one goal in response.
