And the hilarious thing is that they've gone from 1st in the East all the way down to 8th in the matter of a month. I have no pity for them whatsoever. The bandwagon is emptying on that team quickly right now.

Staal and Neal are both out for "weeks". http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=610654 Neal is out indefinitely with a broken foot suffered in the Penguins 3-1 loss to NJ last night and Staal has is going to miss four to six weeks with a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee, suffered from the aforementioned collision with Mike Rupp. From 1st to 8th in the East in a matter of a month. Karma sucks, I suppose.

Read on Twitter last night that Babcock has named Conklin as the starter for tonight's game. And here I thought we wanted to catch Chicago, not fall further behind.

Oh snap, and with that win, New Jersey hops over Pittsburgh in the Atlantic Division. Pittsburgh is now 4th in the Atlantic (with a game in hand on the Devils however).
