We are looking for a powerful winger. Drake is too old. Trading away someone on our roster or any of our prospects would be useless for a "rent" type player. We need to go for youth in this new day in the NHL. I do not understand why some people want another 37 year old player this team. There are better and younger options out there.

No thanks. Datsyuk is less skilled overrall than Zetterberg, but you cannot help but notice the huge improvement in his d-game this season. I just wish he would shoot that little, round, black thing more often Trust me, Gretzky will never trade Doan. I am also against trading Hudler until we see him in more than 3 games in the NHL. Also, if Holland trades away one more draft pick (still miffed about Fleishman) I am going to go insane.

Another good test for the Wings. This one will be to proove that last week was not some lucky win. The Wings will need to stay disciplined against Dallas. If we win this one we can get 1 point ahead of Philly to be #1 in the NHL, but more importantly, we can go 5 points up on LA for #1 in the West, with 2 games still in hand. Mike Babcock said that Ozzy will be getting the start tonight, but we all know that he has said that before and it ends up being Manny. Oh well, doesnt matter to me. I am not exactly torn between the two goalies, so I do not care which one plays. As long as they play well. Wings: 5 (Datsyuk, Holmstrom 2, Zetterberg, Shanahan) Stars: 2 (Svaboda, Morrow)

I dont know, the first one Lebda fell on him, the 2nd one, he should've had, and the third one was tipped and he had a stick in his face. I gotta say that he kept us with a tie game during the 2nd period, oh wait, maybe that was the refs too

An 11 year old girl could survive in this league. All I can say is that these refs need to go back to the training class. Even the first couple penalties that were called against Dallas were pretty lame if you ask me. But the last few calls against Detroit, have realllllllly been iffy.

Is Franzen playing tonight? I did not read/hear anything about him being inserted back into the lineup.

Put your money on Ozzy. He played really well against Dallas last week and Babcock said that he is going to be the starter. (Please, do not start this into an arguement about why Manny should start or why Ozzy shouldn't...there are multiple goalie topics elsewhere on the site)

Chara and Redden will both be gone if the Sens do not even make the 3rd round of the playoffs. They have both been through that multiple times already. This year really seems to be the Sens only chance to win. Hasek I still do not think will be back next season and there is no way they will be able to keep that team together without having to give out some definite cash. Chara or Redden...Wouldnt mind which one we get. Chara I think would fit our needs better, seeing as how we need a big, physical D-man. Redden on the other hand is just so smart with the puck. He is like a younger Lidstrom. Has a great point shot, too. I think if we get Redden than we are not assessing all our needs. He would be like Holland signing another Center, which we do not need as much as we need a big, physical D-man, who is going to make the opposition think twice about crashing our net. Bottom Line: GO FOR CHARA!!!

Im not sure...We could get surely somthing decent for him. Definitley would have to be to a team that lacks offense, yet has money to spend. D-man or Physical forward is all we should accept...back to Washington for Witt? Not straight up of course.

Why do people even bother making up trades that involve Datsyuk and Zetterberg??? It'n not going to happen. Jeeze, makes me think we need an individual forum for trades involving those 2.
