Now that we signed Rafalski (instead of Sneids) Im more confident we lose Bert but sign hasek and a couple of no namers. That will be all.

The KC Blades were pretty popular, not to mention how popular junior teams are west of the miss. I think youd be surprised at the draw in KC.

Not worred yet, but after July 15 Ill start to worry. For the last few years Kenny has talked a big game in the off season and didnt live up to his own hype. I have a feeling we lose three of our free agents this summer. I dont see Kenny signing a difference make UFA before the season begins. It seems to me that Kenny is much better with trades then he is with off season player signings. Just an obvservation.

Apparently the blogger is too young to remember how successful the RHI was They eliminated everything including the ice and score 20 goals a game. That league folded in under 3 years. And was honestly about as entertaining to watch as grass growing. Just a bunch of dudes rollerblading up and down the court shooting, no hitting, not much passing and only 4 guys on each side. Yes Roller Hockey International was so successful Im sure alot of posters on here remember it well

The NHL is marketed about as well as Soccer is in the US. The difference, Soccer is the most popular sport everywhere in the world but here and hockey is only the most popular sport in Canada. We have alot of foreign nationals here so soccer will be poular, hockey not so much. The NHL has absolutely no idea how to market their sport and the ideas they come up with make them look silly. Maybe they should take a look and the NFL for marketing tips, they were not popular at one time either. The NHL just seems to make on wildly bad decision after another. In the early 90's, the NHL had a hayday. Why dont they look back and see what is different from then till now?

You guys are right, no other team faces injuries in the playoffs. God knows the ducks were 100% healthy. 4 years of bad bounces and hot goalies and counting.
