I think most of his impact is felt in the showers after the game, filling the Neidermeirs asses with hockey sense, or cack as we call it in the States.

People from SoCal should stick to things they know, Drive Bys and Police chases. Leave hockey discussion for people who actually grew up playing and being around the game.

My queston: What was Shick doing out there instead of blowing the whistle? And how is when he blew the whistle not looked at? Seems to me if replay can see it went in the net it should take into account when the whistle blew. Seems to be pretty damn important.

That 3rd duck goal was crap, but what makes me madder is the turnovers by our defense. We had some really bad turnovers and one cost us the game. We have to fix this nowish. That and the bonehead clear the puck over the glass crap. Is there anything easier in the world for the refs to call?

From what I saw, the wings didnt play well for 2.5 periods and had to kill a 5 on 3, as well as alot of s***ty penalties. They played in their own end most of the night and still came away with a win. I think the Ducks played pretty well this game and still came up with a loss. I think the Wings match up better with the Ducks than SJ or Calgary, I am confident we will take this series. Especially after seeing us pull it out last night.

Dabura, that is the most intelligent thing Ive ever seen you type on this board. We all love the wings and want them to win. Some of us are optimists and some not so much. The bottom line, we love the wings. Calling someone who is willing to say what they feel, an untrue fan is just wrong. The way I see it, all the guys afraid to say what they feel are lemmings.

Not sure, but if so its no big deal. As long as his ego is intact, he will be good to go. First of all, I wasnt bashing Lidstrom, I stated that Lilja was the best D man in the series thus far. Lilja did in fact play like a beast again tonight. Lidstrom actually looked like Nick Lidstrom tonight, I loved it. Nick has been a favorite of mine since he got here. But thanks for calling me out. You have earned regwinguofmfan's ass hat on the night award. Congrats, Nabokov almost won it.
