Someone should make a top ten Yzerman goals video, and while their add try and make a top ten Draper goal video -
Who is the most improved Red Wing from last season?

I think we are all happy with the progress that was made with Hudler, Lilja, and Samuellson has made -

These videos make me happy -
The guy was the Rangers best player in the playoffs, we'll see how he does this time around. Maybe he actually learned something and will smarten up a bit.

Parise has a legitimate shot

It was definitely boarding. We need to get hits from behind out of the game, they are extremely dangerous. Should've been 5 IMO. P.S. I love Cleary and don't think he is a dirty player but that doesn't change the fact that he should've got 5 minutes in my eyes

Lilja hands down. Lilja went from a horrible player to a decent player. Hudler went from an average player to a good player. Dats went from a great player to a slightly greater player. -
I was amazed when I saw Maltby doing that, same with Lids. I was disappointed that there were only two Yzerman goals but whatever. I can't really argue with #1

The entire Boston Bruins roster other than Chara???

What I thought when I saw this happen was that this is great for the league if the two stars hate each other. Rivalries are great for the game. We have never seen the two big names hate each other before. Mario and Wayne were friends, Magic and Larry were friends. Hopefully the league doesn't f*** up two of the biggest talents we have seen in the last 20 years.

I think Savard's was the best. Stevie's goal against the Blues was HUGE but it definitely wasn't even one of his ten nicest goals. Having said that....where is Yzerman's goal against the Blackhawks?

NHL.com Top Ten Goals of the Year so far
Never_Retire_Steve replied to dat's sick's topic in General
Damn there have been some nice goals this year but wtf at Stafford at 9????? P.S. I love Ovi the more I see him play but he got number simply because he is Ovechkin P.P.S.S All 6 posts before me are -
You would not get a 90%+ yes vote for Steve Ott on team Canada just to clarify. Also, Iginla was voted the best leader in all of hockey, he is definitely not underrated and would be a guy I would take any day of the week.

Seriously Sundin? Don't you guys think that he is a little old and by watching Canucks games that he is out of shape? I think that this is a solid team and should be medal favorites along with Canada and Russia. Naslund > Sundin IMO

What do you like most about this years team?

Team effort > individual performance -
Agreed. This is why I don't like Mike Green as the choice even though I am sure he will be a finalist.
-
I bet if you ask those same players if they wanted him on their team you would get a 90%+ yes vote.
-
Ya, it was an awesome goal but Stafford's was better. P.S. The game was unreal, if anyone watched it between the Wings game it was one of the better ones this year.
-
On forwards yes but they do not have anything other than scoring. Can you even name me 6 defensemen and 3 goalies in the NHL from Russia? They are very very suspect after Ovechkin/Kovalev/Semin/Malkin/Kovalchuk/Kozlov/Datsyuk. Even their Dmen are offensive minded (think Markov and Gonchar).

Are you serious? :puke: I will do what I think should be the USA roster Parise - Gomez - Kane B. Ryan - Kessel - Gionta O'Sullivan - Pavelski - Statsny Umberger - Connolly - Langenbrunner Modano, Tkachuk Ballard - Rafalski Martin - Carle Suter - J. Johnson Komisarek Thomas Miller
-
Claude Lemieux Patrick Roy Mike Keane Honourable mention to any player playing on the Avalanche from 1996-2003 minus Joe Sakic

I think he's a liability as a D-man (for a top four defenseman), probably the best goal scoring defenseman but I don't think he should be considered among the top Norris candidates. Most of Washington has a good +/- and that stat can often be misleading. Edit: I felt the need to clarify after posting this... I think that Mike Green is the best offensive defenseman in the league and will be for quite some time, however, I think his offensive ability often overshadows his defensive blunders. Although, if I had a guy who is manufacturing more goals than he is keeping out, I suppose I can live with that.

My question is.......... why are two Canadiens both chasing the puck/player behind the net? Didn't their coach teach them positioning? and F1,F2, F3 roles? Also, where the hell is Thomas looking if the Canadiens are skating where they are? Is there a hottie in the stands or something?
