Well, since Business Economics was my major in University I am very interested in these topics. I am a firm believer in theories such as those put out by Keynes and Smith that talk about the laws of supply & demand and the tail of the dragon. The market historically always corrects itself and under the salary cap system if revenues go down then salaries will soon follow.

Hasek shouldn't even pop up in this thread, he is retired and can't solve any current/future goaltending issues. I would love to see a guy like Ryan Miller in Detroit, I just don't know what that would mean giving up.

Whatever, I disagree on the gender neutral thing, but I'm not going to get into an arguement about that. 6 Games is WAY too much. This league is a joke with its suspensions and how they magically determine a number.

Actually, sloppy seconds is gender neutral, A girl could say the exact same thing about a guy. I do not find the term misogynistic at all. I guess it's all in how you received the statement, but to me he was just trying to bring attention to himself and the game. Even if it is offensive, does it really deserve a suspension? I mean come on, way worse has been said than this over the history of the NHL.

Last year in February....... My first live Red Wings game against Calgary. No Hasek, Lidstrom, Kronwall, Rafalski, Cleary Our Starting lineup that night: Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Hudler - Filppula - Samuelsson Draper - Maltby - Franzen Kopecky - Downey - Drake Lilja - Lebda Meech - Chelios Quincey - Ericsson Osgood Howard The result was Kipper's first SO of the year and I believe it was the first time in like 200+ games that Detroit got shutout. A 1-0 game that was in the middle of Detroit's BIG slump last year when we had injury problems where we lost in a game with one goal that was a fluke from behind the net. Such a boring game!!

Great pace to the second so far, Lebda did make a great pass to Sammy there. WTF?????

Lidstrom - Norris 12th Stanlen Cup Now that we are a quarter of the way through the year...... what do you guys think of these? Number 5, 6 and 8 are looking very difficult right now.
