He's just absolutely amazing, you don't even notice all the superstars the Pens have (and there are a few on that team up front). However, I must say that everyone with the exception of Lilja has played amazing on D this series.

Wow, is it me or has Detroit gotten better every single game of the playoffs (minus 2 versus Dallas)? Also, Don Cherry of all people is saying that Detroit is already the Stanley Cup champions after the first period in game 2!

I agree 100%, I fully expect him to get the GWG tonight. Ya, it's tough to say with different eras and everything but he was head and shoulders the best Red Wing that I saw play. Here's a good stat..... Osgood 5-0 in Stanley Cup final

No, I realize that...... sometimes his views just make me shake my head in disbelief sometimes and I just had to vent a little there. It was also tongue-in-cheek. -
I think it should go to Z at this point. I really have a hard time giving it to a goalie that faces less shots than the opposing goaltender every single game. There is no doubt how good Osgood has been, but in reality he hasn't had to steal any games for the wings, he has just had to been solid (which he has). No doubt though if Franzen didn't get injured we wouldn't even need to have a debate.
