OK, a few things...... I agree with a lot of things that Cherry said. Back in the glory days when we had guys like Kocur, Probert, McCarty, etc. is when I was a diehard Red Wings fan and to be honest in the last two years I have been pissed off watching some of the Red Wings games because of the exact reasons that Cherry mentioned. That Yzerman blocked shot being down 6-0 will always remain etched in memory because it shows the character that he has and how he is willing to do ANYTHING to win a game. On the flipside, you see Datsyuk care more about himself rather than the team. Now don't jump on me too soon but I'm sure that's what Cherry was alluding to and yes I was unhappy about the $7M dollar contract too because Datsyuk has done s*** in the playoffs, yes he got 2 points but one game doesn't make up for three years and that's why I was agreeing with a lot of what Cherry said. As for the Maclean comment it was one of those puns that he always uses, he said "Scared of a boy named Zyuzin". Not Susan.
