I agree that giving Bertuzzi rest is a good thing in one sense, but I also believe that even at 60% he is way more effective than Samuelsson.

I agree that sitting Bertuzzi is not the wisest idea, especially when you have a Samuelsson like player out there

I don't see Ottawa losing more than 1 game this series

The thing that impressed me most about game 1 was the fact that the Wings were the more physical (against the Flames no less) and they had a lot of shots, but not just any shots, shots from close range that generated good scoring opportunities. Yes the Flames played terrible, but to me the Wings made no mistakes in that game.

I agree, TSN is biased but so is every other station out there I just don't like something like this turning into a stupid nationalistic war of words about the US and Canada when really....... who gives a s***

did HOH do his, he was the one who asked for the OT games around 10 EST, so essentially he started the club Although RW definately gets props for the creativity and being the founding member On a sidenote: I am extremely disappointed with tonight, I missed the best game of the night obv as I am watching highlights from Sharks/Preds and it looked pretty good and the first game OT was phenomenal.......... oh well looking forward to tomorrow

Dear Pavel: I have always liked you and admired your play. You always score highlight reel goals and have a knack for getting fans out of their seats. I'm sure you have heard all the critics talk about your playoff performance and I must admit that I have been quite vocal as to your post-season success and I've even gone so far as to suggesting trades. However, I didn't write this to criticize you but rather to wish you luck because if there's anyone who deserves to have a good playoffs, it's you. I hope that you silence everyone this year and we see you driving down the streets of Detroit in a parade. I know this probably means nothing to you but I have always been a fan of yours and I just wanted to give you my support this spring. Best of luck A long time fan Lee

I called in sick

I think that it was a phenomenal game especially in the regulation time, lots of hits, fast paced. The overtime was a little slow but that generally happens when you have guys who have played for over 50 minutes. I also agree with an earlier poster about what he said about there never being a dull moment in sudden death OT.

Damn, I should try and pull something where I invite a girl who's a Red Wings fan over to my place and hopefully the game lasts long and she can't leave until the game is over....... hmmmmm....... I do know a few girls who are Red Wings fans that I've had crushes on for a long time.
