I think SJ will win this in 7, they have way too many weapons

I know why people would pick McCarty, but I'd love to hear the reasoning behind other picks

I was looking forward to this weekend's games and man was I ever let down by the anti-climatic play and result of the games, hopefully the playoffs are better

I like the fact that I have faith in this team after February when I didn't have it in October. Biggest thing is that Holland impressed me by going out and getting Calder and Bertuzzi. Also, even though I hate Lilja, he has shown some big time upside in these last few games by showing a willingness to stand up for his teammates and for chemistry building, that is huge.

should we split up datsyuk and zetterberg ?
Never_Retire_Steve replied to zetterbergfuturemvp's topic in General
We have a lot of depth upfront and I think we need a bonafide #1 line. In past years we haven't had that one player who has been able to step up and take control of the game. Traditionally, we have just disappeared when crunch time comes. IMO we should have Bertuzzi/Zetterberg/Datsyuk together to cause bigtime problems for the Flames and we can still have productivity out of our second line with something like Lang/Calder/Holmstrom on our second line. -
#8 spot in east decided today by a shootout

The other thing that was interesting was the game that the two teams played earlier and I'm sure looking back at it, Toronto will look at the game that they got killed against the Islanders when the Leafs probably thought they were out of the race -

Let's face it, we all knew that this would happen eventually. When the SO was put in place, I accepted the fact that something like this might even happen to Detroit. -
I think that Nashville has a lot of upside to their team
