For me I see it like this...... I was the biggest fan of Sergei when he was a Wing but as soon as he left I have said some pretty nasty things since he's been gone. It's the same thing when I think of my last girlfriend who left me. I loved her but when she left I was heartbroken and I will never be able to feel the same way as when she was with me because I feel betrayed to some extent and will always remember the pain. For me its the same thing with Fedorov.

I'll offer to eat crow regarding Ken Holland because I was very impressed (and surprised) that he went out and addressed some of our needs at the trade deadline.

To prove a point..... people underestimate the value of certain players while they overvalue others for the team's situation. For the Red Wings, if there was one roster spot left on the team I would love to have Robert Lang have it rather than Datsyuk. The simple reason is that Lang has been our best player WHEN IT MATTERS, whereas Datsyuk has been the opposite. Now, if this was a Washington Capitals thread than obviously I would think differently, but do you see the point I am trying to get at here? All these people who want to get rid of Lang I don't think appreciate the fact that we would be worse off without him than a lot of players on this team.
