    Me eating my crow

I think that Dom has far outperformed expectations so far this season. I personally thought that Dom would be solid but I'm still worried about his durability

    Kessel hands down

    Ovechkin

I'm sure the Capitals would be a fun team to party with. They have a lot of young players on the team and they have plenty of time to get back in shape before the season starts.

    Ovechkin

I agree, he was a lot more fun to watch last year compared to this year

    One Point To Clinch Central

Winning President's trophies is cool but I am disappointed by the fact that in the past 13 years we have dominated the league and honestly should have more than 3 cups

What is wrong with Robert Lang?

    Playoff trivia

Alright, in anticipation of the greatest sporting event known as the Stanley Cup playoffs, I would invite everyone to participate in some playoff trivia. Please feel free to add any questions that you can think of, in honor of the Carolina Hurricanes and Edmonton Oilers, I'll start off with this question: When was the last time the two teams playing in the Stanley Cup finals have failed to qualify for the playoffs the next year?

    Playoff trivia

How many players have won a Stanley Cup in one city and then being traded/dealt and came back to win the cup with another team the next year?

How about tossing Holland a small bone right now?

In terms of judging GMs, I think you have to look at the new era that includes the salary cap. Brian Burke leads in that category IMO

What is wrong with Robert Lang?

Dom was one of the reasons why we won in 2002, so hopefully he will help contribute to that as well.

    Datsyuk Contract Negotiations

Although I wanted Datsyuk to be traded for quite some time, if Datsyuk does do well in the playoffs and can show that he can lead this team then I would happily have him back for somewhere around 5 million

How about tossing Holland a small bone right now?

Holland has done a good job of keeping the team competitive and giving fans hope but that sometimes leads me to bigger disappointment

How about tossing Holland a small bone right now?

Alright, Ill admit that I have been on Holland's case for over year now BUT I still don't give a f*** about anything this year unless it means a Stanley Cup. If we do go out early this year I will be just as unhappy as I was last year. I bitched all summer about Holland and how he didn't make any moves because of the performance in the playoffs. So, having said that I will reserve judgement until summer.

    Playoff pools

I prefer the draft idea when you sit around the day playoffs start with a bunch of friends and have a few beers while you watch a game on TV
