I agree that Pavel Datsyuk will again be the answer this year, hopefully its to the right question though

1000th post...... Ok, so I would like to wait for playoffs to really make a judgement as to who should go but as of right now here are my thoughts: Datsyuk - Going to receive way too much money for what he contributes when it matters. Also, the kid has a lot of talent and he could easily bring back a lot in return to the organization. Dom- He's just too old and too much of a liability Maltby - Past his prime, the grind line is officially done Sammy - What does he add to the team? Lilja - garbage
-
Calder also had a really good impact to the team when he suited up as well.
-
I agree, bench Sammy

I don't understand why everyone says that Tootoo has no talent what so ever. The people who say that should try and dig up some stats and game film from some Brandon Wheat Kings days and team Canada World Juniors as well.
-
CBC for sure if they play the Flames
-
exactly, it was good to see him crash the net on Thursday night as well, we need more of that.
-
He's a dirty piece of s***

What would you do differently than any other sports team does? For me, I would be like Mark Cuban and go nuts at every game and have a whole bunch of other events at the actual game (Mardi Gras, hot tub parties, etc.). Some people might not like those sorts of things but I think going to a live sporting event is all about the atmosphere.

Still maintaining a goal per game for 50 games is unbelievable

Zetterberg -
I definately agree that neither of them are even close to being on that list but I think that they were pretty close in terms of skill, seeing as how they split duty. IMO Richter was better than Vanbiesbruck

I'd like to see some exploring of Garon, I think that he has a lot of potential

I think it's time for Fedoruk to join Nick Kyprious in the press box

Edmonton does suck, end of thread -
Richter is definately in the top ten goalies since the 80s, I don't know how you can say Vanbiesbruck is in during one breath but not saying hes in in the next breath
-
Hasek and Brodeur definately deserve to be there IMO
-
Excited to see Bertuzzi play
-
Datsyuk show up in the playoffs
-
Scott Stevens does not get the respect he deserves so I'll add him as an honourable mention

Malkin hands down
