IMO, This move isn't about getting the bigger body in the lineup (although we could use it), its about the wings not thinking that highly of hudler. He is going to be shopped in the offseason.

That would suck if he is stuck there and won't get a chance to be around datsyuk or Markov on a regular basis. They can help him make the transition easier to North America. Although, he did sign a 1-yr deal, so we can offer him more money next year.

There's no doubt he deserves to be a full-time wing next season. However, Meech can't be sent down to GR w/o passing through waivers as he's out of options. Most likely it will be meech who they'll keep in the end.

Ugh. We will likely see an increased dose of samuelsson and lidstrom on the PP. I expect lebda to take schneider place when he returns, but lebda doesn't have as big of a shot as him.

First of all, I'd like to point out that even though he was bad, it wasn't the reason we lost yesterday. The whole team was manhandled after the 1st. Secondly, he played fine against calgary. Started off slow, but his play improved. He needs to step it up, cause so far he's been underwhelming in this series.
