Actually I think Calder should be much better with someone other than Lang. I can forsee flip and calder having some success. -
Yeah he's not as visible in the playoffs, but what's he supposed to do when Lang is just stinkin it up???

Lidstrom has done a marvelous job on Iginla. He was invisible the first few games, until last night. Yeah Lidstrom did make a few mistakes last night, and it allowed the flames to take advantage of it. No reason to freak out, because he rarely has bad games. In fact, if Iginla can only score when Lidstrom makes mistakes, I'm thrilled. Iginla's the one who should be worried. I expect Lidstrom and those who didn't play great to bounce back in the next game.

In some ways, I'm not surprised of the outcome. The wings played alright and had a chance to win, but they made some wrong decisions and lost the game as a result. The one thing I'd seriously be worried about is the PP. They can't seem to get anything going at all. Both of their PP goals have been on 5-on-3.

Best post of the day right there. He is just terrible. I know in baseball when a guy struggles at the plate they get a day off to recharge their batteries. I wonder if Babcock would be willing to do that, but I'd give it a shot.

The wings need to be better on the PP. 2-15 isn't that good and, we had a chance to set them back even farther in the first 10 mins of the game, but didn't. However, Kipper was the main reason why the PP hasn't been as good as it could've been. They also need to do better at the faceoff circle. Winning faceoffs is key in the playoffs, and it makes it a lot easier to execute than not winning the draw and scrambling around.

About time. I hope he's on with Z and datsyuk sometimes, so that the calgary players don't take liberties with those 2.

Bingo. Say what you want about the wings, but pistons know how to market fans. Having $16 seats is one way.

Pretty close, didn't fall short by that much. I thought it would be worse than that, but I'll take it. Now that the wings won tonight, expect the sunday's game to sellout.

Love the way they've played tonight. But, they have to keep this up and if so they can't be beat.
