great news for those who are gonna watch it on Sopcast. Outta the 4 games they're showing tonight, ours will have a pretty high quality stream (440).
-
Interesting. People will think he's trying to dress like Eminem, so he'll be accused of being a poser.
-
I dunno. It takes him a moment to get goin when he's on coach's corner which lasts for a good 5 mins or so. But on NBC their segments are short, so he won't have a chance to go on any rants and he's also sharing the spotlight with hull. Therefore, I kinda don't expect the same Don Cherry that we're used to seeing

If I'm Babcock, I post that inside the locker room. Play the disrespect card and use it as motivation.
-
They've been saying that since yesterday. BTW, Ortiz was in Allen park today for some lions related reasons, so there's no way he could've been at wings' practice.
-
Jiri Hudler. My gut tells me he'll surprise the flames.

http://www.stubhub.com/detroit-red-wings-p...rt_by=min_price Tickets on stubhub are goin cheaper than the actual price. There are a few seats for game 1 in section 225A goin for $55.

I respect the flames, but I don't fear them. You guys did get conroy back as he helped in 2004, but forgot to get one more guy. Martin Gelinas. Only this time we have our own version of Martin Gelinas. Kyle Calder. And in game 6 when he scores in overtime you won't see any flames coming out of the flamethrower machine or the annoying sound of that goal horn. Its gonna be Calder netting the silencer, and sending everyone home. Wings in 6.

Actually, tigers are on FSN thursday, so the first game of the series should be on FOX 2, around here.
-
Yeah I was wondering the same thing, I hope they'll be on FSN as well.
-
Unofficially, yes.
-
yeah you got a point, but only if they start at or before 1. If the game started at 3, no need to worry.
-
^^^^I don't know what you're babbling about, but you probably didn't read any of my previous posts. Like I said, Its unfair that some of the western conference series begin on wednesday and by the time our series starts those teams will be playing game 2.
-
NOoooooo. Game 2 is on Sunday, they just announced it at the end of the flyers/sabers game

I found the NBC & Versus scheduling plans on HF Boards. Just can't put names on them yet. Here's NBC's Complete Playoff Setup: 4/14 2:30 PM NBC NHL Playoff Special (pre-game) 4/14 3:00 PM Conference Quarterfinals Game 2 4/15 1:00 PM Conference Quarterfinals Game 3 4/21 3:00 PM Conference Quarterfinals Game 6 4/22 1:00 PM Conference Quarterfinals Game 6 4/28 3:00 PM Conference Semifinals Game 2 4/29 2:00 PM Conference Semifinals Game 2 5/5 2:00 PM Conference Semifinals Game 5 (NOTE: If game runs past 4:30 ET, coverage will switch to VERSUS due to Kentucky Derby) 5/6 2:00 PM Conference Semifinals Game 6 5/19 2:00 PM Eastern Conference Finals Game 4 5/20 3:00 PM Western Conference Finals Game 5 Mike Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire will call most games. When necesariy, Dave Strader and Chris Cuthbert will provide play-by-play with analysts Brian Hayward, Joe Micheletti, Peter McNab, Darren Pang, Cammi Granato and Brett Hull. Now, as for VERSUS They will air DH's Every night that it is possible to do so. Plus Games 1-3 and 5-7 of the East Final, and Games 1-4 and 6-7 of the West Final. Games 1-2 of the Cup Finals will also air on VERSUS. Mike Emrick and Eddie Olczyk will be their top team. VERSUS will use numerous announcers and analysts, and have current players as guest analysts in the studio. They will air a 30-Minute Pre-Game as well on April 11th before their Opening Night Doubleheader, and also on April 26th, when the 2nd round begins. They will once again use CBC feeds for games in Western Canada up until the Conference Finals.

Starting on Friday doesn't make any sense. How the f*** do we start on friday and a lot of the other series start on wednesday??? when we start our series those some of them will be playing game 2.

http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.php/webl...layoff_tickets/ Looks like fans have had enough. Some are the type that won't bother getting 1st round tickets because they wanna see the wings advance past the first round.
-
He had a goal and an assist helping MSU win the national championship over BC 3-1.
-
The forwards on the team who were still around in 2004, are gonna be extra motivated when they remember that they were dominated physically by guys like regehr and warrener. This time around, if their guys give us some guff, they're gonna get it right back.
-
I'm glad we're playing Calgary. They haven't been playing with a sense of urgency and it seems like they kinda backed their way into the playoffs. Typically teams in that scenario in the past haven't played the first game awfully well. Here's hoping that the boys in red & white jump on them early.

Anybody watch after 40 minutes on CBC????? They said that 2500 season ticket holders did not pick up their Playoff tickets. I'm confident that they will sell out evetually, but if it didn't for some reason it would be a shame to have their sellout streak end in a playoff game. -
