From Wikipedia: Slated to make the Detroit roster after an impressive 13 game playoff performance, Kyle suffered a setback after suffering a broken hand in training camp resulting in missing the entire 2007–08 pre-season.[5] Quincey returned and played the majority of the year with Grand Rapids scoring 20 points in 66 games. He was used as an call-up from the Griffins in February to play 6 games for Detroit in the regular season.[6] During the 2008 playoffs, he was on the practice roster for the whole playoffs as the Red Wings captured the Stanley Cup. Although the Red Wings included him on the Stanley Cup winning picture, he was not awarded a Stanley Cup ring and did not qualify to be inscribed on the Stanley Cup.[7] Going in to the 2008–09 season Quincey was re-signed to a two-year contract with the Red Wings on September 9, 2008.[8] Unable to crack the talent laden Red Wings and due to salary cap compliance issues, Kyle was placed and claimed off waivers on October 13, 2008, by the Los Angeles Kings.[9] Posting an assist in his Kings debut against the Carolina Hurricanes on October 17, 2008,[10] he quickly became an important part of a young Kings defensive corps, especially early in the season due to the injury of Jack Johnson, playing on the power play and penalty killing units.[11] He finished his breakthrough season leading the Kings defense in scoring with 34 assists and 38 points in 72 games before finally succumbing to a herniated disc on April 1, 2009.[12]

Possible Winter Classic @ Comerica Park
CenterIce replied to South Dakota wings fan's topic in General
NBC doesn't want Canadian teams. CBC doesn't want US. They want bigger draws on their networks. That is why they brought back the Heritage Classic. I would love to see a Wings' outdoor game at UofM. I think the rink fits better in football stadiums. -
As of now: UFA RFA

The Islanders don't really want anything. They have a lot of cap space left.

Detroit usually always has balanced scoring. And, that is what you want. If one guy goes cold, or gets shut down, someone else picks up the slack. Some people complain, when the team doesn't have someone in the top ten of scoring, but I would rather have 10 guys in the top 20 than one in the top 10. Also, some people complain when someone doesn't have many goals, but if he is racking up a lot of assists, that is just as good. It means someone is scoring. As someone said, it is a team sport not an individual one. Everyone follows their roles.

Yeah, I am not quite sure why Babcock put Hudler on the point of the power play. I guess since he would not be in the penalty kill, he wanted some way of getting more ice time for him, but I would rather see Stuart there, instead.

Doan has a no movement clause, and he has said multiple times that he does not want to leave Phoenix.

@dchesnokov is tweeting that a trade is being rumoured about the Caps, possibly involving a player who was scratched their last game. Saying a winger for a defenseman. Maybe Fleischmann?
-
Looks like Fleischmann is playing, tonight. So, we'll see.

@theopsports: FSD PLUS programming now available in high-def 24/7 on #Comcast (707) and WOW! ( 221). Also available for live events on U-Verse (1738).

It comes in for me, but I have the Sports Package, which is where this looks to be located rather than with the other HD. On a side note, 708 seems to be ESPNU HD.

Because, the Norris has become the best offensive defensemen award.

I went, as well.

This is the key right here. We are looking at frames of a video. The refs see it at full speed. It was close enough to the rule to warrant the call. It looked like both refs were making the call, so they both saw it the same.
-
That is what I was wondering.

Not to pick on you, but I keep seeing names like this. It will be something outside of Illitch Holdings, because he won't make any money off of a name if it comes from his own business.
