You can, but it somewhat "wastes" a spot. The Wings have done it before. Ever hear of "Ticker" Hodson? They would not have called up Larsson. They wanted to get Osgood into some kind of playoff shape, but Howard was winning, and that is what they needed at that time, to get into the playoffs.

Swedish Ref to be First European Trained NHL Referee

I think that was more a reflection of Olympic versus NHL rules. -
He is a restricted free agent, so they would have to tender him an offer to keep his rights. They may try that, or they might just let him go, like Liv.

I still go by the slash, but I admit there wasn't a slew foot. The second video has a cleaner view. The first one made it look like Perry's foot was behind Vockun's pad.

Not sure, but it looks like Canada lost the game. =4064&cHash=ba5f37f67f"]IIHF

Nope. Smith handled the forwards, and Lewis handeled the defensemen. The only time Smith worked the defense was when Lewis became head coach, and they brought in Kocur to handle the forwards, leaving Smith with the defense. Smith was the guy coming up with all the schemes that worked for the Wings, while Bowman was head coach, especially the left-wing lock.

They might just be sticking with Noel.

I just saw a twitter post that MacLean has been eliminated from Columbus' coaching search.

Babcock. I think the only reason we got him was because of the right handed shot on the power play. Hopefully, Stuart and/or Eriksson can take that next year.

Good to hear you are feeling better. That sounds like a heck of a lot to go through. Those ticks sound like nasty little buggers with this and lyme disease, among others. Plus, they are so small.

Miller is listed as a arbitration eligible restricted free agent. More than likely, he is staying with the Wings.

Four time Stanley Cup winning veteran who could impart some knowledge on a young team. No, nobody wants that.

According to Kevin Allen of USAToday's twitter:

That doesn't mean much. The Pistons play in Auburn Hills but are the Detroit Pistons. It happens every where. What about the teams named after states.

Just in this series. Terry Gregson is the head of officials.

So, this means Eaves is still out? The fourth line probably will not play much, so it won't matter much there. The big issue will be special teams, where Stuart would be back on the power play point.

I am not saying we should be content. It was a bad goal to give up, but for people to say they hate him, that he is Swiss cheese, etc., is stupid.
-
That wasn't the greatest goal to give up, but to go crazy on Howard because of it is stupid. He is the guy that got the team here. Do you really want Osgood out there? Man, sometimes I can't believe the fans of this team. I am glad none of us are running this team.

If he has issues in Montreal, do you think he can survive the normal "love" for Red Wings goalies?
