I guess there are still people who don't understand about the Black Aces concept. Playoff teams call up some of their AHL guys who can either soak up the atmosphere and see what the playoffs are like, but they don't get in, except for injuries. As noted, May and Abdelkader may get in a little more often, depending on their opponent.

Eaves might not be a bad idea. He seems to have a decent shot, and he is good in the defensive zone. Just has to watch out for those shootout attempts.

I think Ken Daniels said that Nabokov was about the same age when he won rookie of the year. Yeah, maybe with younger guys coming in now, the age limit should be looked at, but Howard currently qualifies as a rookie, goalies mature later, and he is having a heck of a season.

Your link doesn't work. Maybe Ozzie is in the room stretching or riding the bike. Nobody knows, and if Howard is saying he is helping than that is all that matters.

They are not that bad. They just don't have the net presence without Cleary. Bertuzzi should be doing that, but I don't think he is totally comfortable in that role.

I think Meech is better as a fourth line forward than he is as a 6th or 7th defensemen.

I believe Hartnell still plays for Philadelphia. I would want him no where near Howard, with the playoffs coming up.

The NHL is definitely getting younger, and the goalies are reflecting that. You are now getting a lot of goalies with limited playoff experience. It is not as much of a knock as it used to be, because so many are the same.
