The Gamecenter runs the pay for video and the free audio. If you open a game, the audio will start to play.

Ovechkin and Crosby. They are the NHL's media darlings.

Not spending money on goaltenders? Hasek got 8 million in 2002, and Cujo got the same contract. It all depends on how it all fits in and what is needed. -
I tried pasting the image to no avail. Image: http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_sports_nhl...mW59.BDhyZm4xS0 Source: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,193710

Yeah, I saw him, too. It is the same guy on the linked blog. It is like those people who bought 49ers #15 Crabtree jerseys, before camp even started. I am betting they are loving those jersey's, now.

Multiple mentions on here before. Rafalski has a no trade clause, and Giguere's family wants to be near their son's doctors. So, no.

Ericsson only played 5 minutes. It was more not having all 6 defensemen in there, causing the other guys to play more minutes.

Ericsson only played about 5 minutes. The Red Wings did not play a full 60, but they played more than 5 minutes. The issue was more having only 5 defensemen, so others have to play more minutes. Hard to say how good he will be. He has to play well consistently for a few years and stay healthy.

Disney does not own Comcast. They are their own company.

Not much the NHL can do in a contract negotiation, besides putting a little pressure on both sides, which according to NHL.com, they have. It is just like the NFL Network/Comcast thing, but that was resolved at the 11th hour.

Little thing called the Salary Cap. Can't be signing free agents like they used to. You have to give your prospects earlier shots, now.

I am not really into knocking players, but I can't see calling Bertuzzi a positive in the game, when he threw a pass right to a Blues' player that led to a goal, and he also skated right through the crease on another goal, where he could have helped clear it out. Being -2 is also not high on the list, either. On the topic, can't read much into one game. The team likes to look at 10 game segments, so I would wait until after 10. Maybe they were a little distracted from all the hoopla with all the Swedes in Sweden. Also, this was one of the first games that the majority of the team was on the ice at one time. Mason looked good, too.

Worked today.

From what I just read, if the deal goes through, all the Comcast and NBC Universal TV networks would be spun off into a NBC Universal Group (51 percent owned by Comcast). Just like all TV deals, nothing changes until the individual network contracts run out. It does make it easier to have NBC Universal content on Comcast, since they would own it.

From what I was reading, Comcast would be taking a controlling interest, not an outright buy. It might be good for the NHL, but who knows with Comcast.

I was watching the game, and this type of injury was my first thought, when I saw the play. Price's skates got wrapped around Markov's leg, and his leg slide over one of the skates.

Was that in the intermediate one? We got a little twisted around there too. Otherwise, we zipped through pretty quickly. Did all but the easy one.

Helm was injured tripping over a stick. Watch the sticks.
