And you know all this how. The Wings could have had trade offers, which were never revealed to the public. In the years since the Wings have had Howard's rights, I have heard Ken and Mickey mentioning a few times that some teams have been interested. However, no one knows everything that these GM's discuss.

Kronwall is from Stockholm (sp.), so he will be playing in his home town. That has got to be a lot of fun for him.

I have no problem, and I am not offended. I would love to be able to upgrade this roster, if possible. I am Red Wings first; players second. However, we live in the world of the salary cap, now. And, with the Red Wings near that cap, they have to work with their younger players that they have been developing in their system more than ever. They have to get these guys ready for when the likes of Lidstrom, Draper, Maltby, Holmstrom, etc. leave. Making a comment of trading six players, plus a pick for one player, doesn't fly. The Red Wings have to work with what they have.

When you start out like you did, no one wants to read any more.

Cloutier contacted the Wings. The Wings did not ask him to come in. Cloutier is just trying to get some exposure. The Wings didn't even gaurantee him a game. They want to look at their prospects first and fourmost.

I didn't say anything about preseason. I said he has to get consistent action. Nine games over four years is no way to base a prospect.

Your not going to see Maltby and Howard waived. Also, you are not going to give up six guys and a pick for one player. As someone said, this isn't NHL 10.

Here we go, again. You can't judge anything until he gets consistent real game action. Last night he hardly saw any shots. Also, as someone said, the two goals were on deflections. Goalies are the hardest prospect to develop, because they take so long, compared to other positions. He needs time.

It all depends on your provider and subscription package. I have Comcast Digital, and I had no problems. They have a channel devoted to being Fox Sports Detroit Plus.

He has worn Vaughn and Eagle, too. I guess he like trying out equipment.
