I remember that some friends and I were staying up to watch the end of the game. We had to leave early in the morning from college for home the next morning. My assumption would be that it would have started around 8, because they always like to have the game in prime time.

You have to assume that these guys know what they are doing with the goalies. Yeah, the salary cap prevents them from getting a new free agent goalie for every Cup, like they used to, but with Holland, a former goalie, and Bedard, who seems like a good goalie coach, looking for these guys, it sounds like they have it under control.

I recently saw a commercial that, I believe, said that FSN Detroit HD was now available 24 hours and that all Wings, Pistons, and Tigers games would be available on HD.

I believe the NHL network is picking one up, too. I don't know which one. It may be the one on CBC, since the have shown Hockey Night in Canada games.
