Why does Draper always seem to sign at a cell phone store? He needs to branch out a little.
-
Yeah, I saw this, too. However, I still like the Fox College Sports channels and the CBS College Sports Station, so I will still keep the sports package. Too bad it probably will not come down in price.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=424844 Pavel feels like he is ready to go. It will be a game time decision on Babock's part.
-
I would assume Abdelkader and Leino.
-
The Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins all pretty much have the same color scheme, so they were probably going for Penguin colors.
-
That was the follow through where Staal went right over Helm. I don't think he could control his skate that well to make it on purpose.
-
Any link to this?
-
It goes back way father than that. Usually, it was just Draper getting tossed out, but now, Zetterberg has joined that club.

Yes, Ericsson and Cleary's penalties were legitimate. But I am more concerned about the non-calls where Pittsburgh had 6 men on the ice, Franzen got high sticked in the head, and Osgood got kicked in the head by Cooke. If a penalty is deserved, that is fine call it, but the only thing consistent about the officials is that they are inconsistent. Outside of that the Wings hampered themselves by getting only 3 shots on goal in the third and not generating a lot of consistent offensive zone pressure. The Wings will learn from that and come back stronger in game 4.

Hossa not signing deal... yet Marian Hossa | Red Wings The reports were all over the internet -- Marian Hossa was signing a seven-year extension with the Red Wings. "There's no truth to any of that," Wings GM Ken Holland told The Detroit News. Hossa, who will be a free agent July 1, is currently playing in the Stanley Cup Finals.

They also promoted their assistant GM to the GM position. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=424794

Osgood didn't purposesly put his stick out to hit Staal. He was going back for the puck, and Staal ran into his stick. Cooke was looking right at Osgood, so he knew where he was, and his leg wasn't caught, so he wasn't trying to get it out. He just swung it up to hit Osgood. That his a very dangerous play swinging skate blades around like that.
-
I can't say about any thing recent, but the previous reports were saying he was skating but not for long periods and not very well. Plus, we don't know the whole story. Judgement needs to be reserved until after the series.

Eddie Olczyk only says the Wings interfere. What are you talking about?
-
Maybe Cleary wanted them to change it. They should use that song that was played for his '08 Cup party.

If I remember, his cousin is a Wings fan, so if he did anything like that, she would break his knees.
-
I guess he got off on good behavior.

The league rescinded it already? Why even have the rule, if twice in the same playoffs it is called and never enforced. I know e will love this: doesn't the NHL have the best officials, and they are right 99.9% of the time? Might as well take the rule out. Must be a regular season only rule. And, I do believe that is Zetterbergs only 5 minute major penalty. His chances for any lady bing is done.
-
As someone pointed out, Walker got the same, and the suspension was rescinded.
-
Yeah, I saw that, too.
-
Did Walker get an instigator for that, though. Can't see recinding suspensions. When you have a rule calling for an automatic suspension; then, say oh, not this time is a little stupid. I checked. Walker got the same. Yep, the NHL rule book. It only is there when we feel like it.

Plus, you are not going to see a lot of ice time on the fourth line. How many times have we seen people on here say this player is going to be the next Yzerman, when he has only played one game, or this guy is a bum, when he only has 5 minutes of ice time. You have to have a larger body of work, before you can judge someone.
