This is correct. Mironov was acquired at the trade deadline. Being the veteran, he got preference of the number over Holmstrom.

Usually, they are getting treatment/rehabilitating the injury. They have TVs in the locker room, so they can watch the game.

Depends a lot on match up and TV network. The networks have really become the driving force for the scheduling. That is why we had the 3 games in 4 nights against Pittsburgh in 09 (I think it was).

Franzen-Dats-Huds Who is going to go into the corners on this line? Who is going to screen the goalie? You don't want Franzen doing that. He needs to be setting up for a shot. It's not going to be the other two.

It is always that way. The Wings like to set plays up. If they don't get time to launch their breakout passes, they end up chipping right to a guy covered or to an opposition player. It is all or nothing with them.

Tech's biggest issue is recruiting. Not much to do up there, unless you really love winter sports. Usually have a few decent forwards and a decent goalie. Need to get better on defense. Didn't have to cut staff. Comcast had NBC Sports take over Versus. NBC Sports made the changes.

Tech is a founding member of the WCHA, and it is the main athletic program there. They are not doing well, but it is not going any where.

Versus always grabs announcers from other teams. Not sure why Daniels has never been on before. Maybe he declined for certain reasons, who knows. Cool he is on, now.

He was a big part in the Wings' success. He brought the left wing lock over from Sweden. Very smart hockey mind.

Not really a fan of this, but expected once Penn State said they were fielding a team. Takes a big chunk out of CCHA and WHCA. They will still probably play a lot of teams in their "former" conferences, just not as much.
