    Away fans good or bad?

I always find it more fun to go to games and cheer for the away team regardless of the sport. I guess it's the adrenaline I get from not knowing if I'll make it through the game. I went to the Michigan - Minnesota football game two years ago at the Metrodome and sat right in the middle of the student section. Boy was that an adventure.

    Anyone Miss Lang?

Definitely not... When I was at the Wild game and I believe Sammy had a turnover, I thought to myself "Wow, I'm glad we still don't have Lang." Then when someone else didn't hustle to the puck and let a Wild player get it, I thought to myself "Wow, I'm glad we still don't have Lang." It seemed to have been a common thought when I saw a Wings player sucking it up out there.

    12/22 GDT: Red Wings 4, Wild 1

Went to the game tonight and was disappointed to find out that Hank wasn't playing... If I had known I would have worn a different jersey. But I did get on TV after the 4th goal and sat next to the brother of a guy on Tampa Bay. Overall great game!

    Osgood winning almost all

Single season wins record for a goalie is 48 by Martin Brodeur, correct? Ozzie will not get the record.

Do we actually have it all?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it... It seems like every year we try to get even better at the deadline, even when we don't actually need it (meaning we are in first place for a reason). If you can get something for free essentially (i.e. Bertuzzi last year), then do it. If you have to give up pieces of the puzzle such as Hudler or Filppula, I don't see why you would do it.

St.Paul chosen as new Hockeytown USA

Sounds good and definitely true. Even at Wings-Wild games there are a few hundred Red Wings fans in attendance.

St.Paul chosen as new Hockeytown USA

After already losing a franchise, the people here in Minnesota will ALWAYS care about the Wild. Minnesota is the State of Hockey, it only makes sense that Hockeytown is located in the State of Hockey. No storied past? The North Stars consistently made that playoffs and had some great players. The team leaving Minnesota had nothing to do with fan support or on the ice product. It was motivated, as many hockey moves are, by greed and shortsightedness of ownership. Now the Minnesota Wild have arguably the best arena and devoted followers who get that place rocking night in and night out. The atmosphere in the arena and around St. Paul on game day is amazing. You don't know what hockey means to Minnesota until you have lived here. Yes, Detroit may be deemed Hockeytown due to marketing, but that does not mean that it is true. Minnesotans have a passion and pride for hockey and if asked who is Hockeytown, no doubt will they say St. Paul.

    Hasek Challenges, Gaborik goes Airborn

All I can say is I cannot wait until the Wings-Wild game on the 22nd! I will be there red-line to see it all go down... It's going to be one hell of a game. Maybe a little rivalry can come from this and St. Paul officially stealing the Hockeytown USA name...
