You're right...he's probably used to playing with players that are far *worse* defensively which makes his overcommitment that much more inexcusable. I'm not trying to dog him, just calling the play like it was.

I.E. The Blackhawks' fans rebutal to the Wings fans starting a "Let's Go Red Wings" chant in Chi-town. I know its tradition for them, but it might be better to actually start a "Let's Go Hawks" chant. Just an idea.

Honestly, I feel fine about it. I'm 100% sure the asking price for what Ken was looking to add was just too great, hence why he didn't make a deal for the first time in *6 years*. This team was set-up to challenge for the Cup before today and that hasn't changed.

If that's your feelings, you may not want to tune in the rest of the deadline day, because (as you ascertain) no way Kenny picks him up. It would require too much player movement.

Or perhaps the offers for Guerin were garbage, and they made a move before they got nothing for him.

I'd be ok with a weighted version of that. As long as the bottom team has the highest percentage all the way down to the 14th worst team....no complaints from me.

I agree.....they're two totally different skill-sets/additions to the team. While the team will be hungry for Hossa, you know a gritty fourth liner helps bring a spark when a team needs it. Drake was great at that role all last season.
