What's the Bears' cap situation like next season? You seem quite concerned about CHI locking him up...have there been problems with negotiations regarding him in the past?

It doesn't look like Best will be back soon. Most reports have him sitting for the next 2 games with the a hopeful limited return in 3 weeks.

^ There's no doubt he's a rough player, but every player needs to be. Even though Suh does cross the line from time to time, his reputation seems to stir things up that aren't there. The whole whining from Atlanta players regarding Suh talking trash I found to be ridiculous. It was such a "Wah, Wah" crying routine. Had Ryan's injury been more severe, I can't imagine Suh would've said anything. Other than that, players talk s*** all the time and its to get into their opponents heads. Nothing wrong with that. That being said, where he crosses the line is the type of stuff he obviously needs to get a better hold on.

In a vote amongst NFL players Suh was named the league's most dirty player. That being said, you don't get recognized as such in the NFL unless you're a force and Suh most certainly is. Any team would love to have that guy, including us Packer fans. Suh was given 36 votes, with Jerome Harrison of Pittsburgh coming in 2nd with a mere 9.

Albert Haynesworth has been released by the Patriots. What a waste this guy became since he signed his 9-figure pay-day. The saddest part of it was that $41 million was guaranteed.

The loss of Collins is really affecting the communication on the back end. Peprah really needs to step up his game and start ensuring assignments are set before the ball is snapped and the problem should go away. That, and the Packers need a more effective pass rush from their ends. If they can get those two areas in line, its hard to imagine any other team in the league could match up. Not a Packers fans' heart.

Ericsson will not be moved. You can take that to the bank. Hudler won't either because (A) his value will be too low to trade at his current production or (B) he'll pick it up and the Wings will want him for the run. Shelly couldn't make it home before trick-or-treating started Monday night so I took a half day and brought our little Kate to my parents house. Here she is chasing my Mom around. Not really a picture, but worth the watch.

Kopecky was let go because CHI paid far more for him then anyone should have. Leino was moved because his style of play was never going to be successful in Detroit and it would've been pretty damn hard to get his value up high enough to trade him for the value he showed playing in PHI without compromising the style the Wings play.

I assume he's referring to the lack of production. 1G, 1A, 8 GP. I haven't heard anything about him being a disruption or locker-room problem.

I've been auto-subscribed for Center Ice the past 7 seasons and have always gotten most all the HD feeds, but the last couple Wings games it states I'm "not subscribed" when I went to the channel. Now I'm extremely confused because when I flipped on the TBL-NSH game last night, and I did in fact get the HD feed. The only thing I can think of is that the HD feed started momentarily after the standard feed and that was the moment I turned it on. Not likely, but that could be the reason why it stated such. Oh well, we'll see tonight.
