Really? To me, its nothing like a snapshot. A snapsnot is when someone doesn't have the time to wind up for the slapper, and rather just does a short wind-up (6-12 inches worth) and then lets it rip. To me, a shovel shot would have no wind-up...just a forward, pushing motion.

I swear this place just loses it after a loss. :nonono: Here's the reality of the matter: Lilja wasn't great last night, but Cheli has been brutal these playoffs. Keep the lineup the same or swap them and it won't make any difference if the Wings give the Pens the amount of respect they did starting with 5 minutes remaining in the first. If the Wings play like they did up until that point, they'll win Saturday night. If they don't, it could be another close one. That being said, nobody seems to be talking about the fact that it took home-ice, Oz's first real mediocore game, and the best we've seen the Penguins play just to squeak out a 1 goal win.

I'll know later today If I'm able to get tickets. If I can, myself and Mrs. NFM#25 will be making the 9 hour drive (or possibly flying).

Your team executing and playing nearly flawless hockey the first two games of the finals is anything but boring if you're on the winning side. I'm sorry, but its boring for the Pens fans because their team can't figure it out and worst of all haven't scored a single goal. This isn't meant to be arrogant, rather I'm just pointing out that if the situation were reversed I would highly doubt you'd consider it boring.

They can't. As far as I know, Versus gets the first two games of the SCF's every year until the contract expires. It was part of the initial agreement between the two sides.

Absolutely great news for the league, and Wings fans. If the league continues to flourish and exceed profit projections, that means a higher salary cap.
