Great post!

Who are these people that are disappointed in him? I don't have man-love whatsoever for him but there's no denying the talent he has, and I would think anyone in their right mind would realize that if the Pens don't go past this round (or any other) that its not because of him. Seriously, who's disappointed in him?

Who wants to work with NFM#25? Needed: Assistant GM for Anaheim PM and we'll talk about strategy.

Theodore to start Game 3; Forsberg hopeful

To me, this is the most interesting paragraph of the article, and no one has touched on it yet: -
What a joke of a 5-on-3 for MTL: Advantage PHI.
-
I would assume he meant location-wise.
-
Huge chance for MTL to steal all the momentum. A very long 5-on-3
-
Seriously, gofigure. Arguably the best game of the 2008 playoffs sandwiched by sheer boredom.
-
Is anyone else extremely unimpressed with Montreal? They barely squeaked through the first round, they lost their home ice advantage in this series, and they just look flat. Philly doesn't even look good, Montreal just seems like they just don't care.

Koivu with the breakaway coming out of the penalty box and doesn't get a shot off due to Biron's poke check. Smart play based on the direction Koivu was heading.

I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes.

Flyers head to the first PP of the game.

Seeing as that this is the only game today, I really hope the build up from the end of Game 2 comes in to play. This has the potential of being an explosive game or a real dud.

IIRC for the Red Wings only, the player that scored the hattie signs them all and then they get donated to a charity to be sold off to raise money. I can't confirm, but I seem to remember heaing that.

I'll GM Anaheim.....and give Burke a lesson or two.
-
Very clever slogan.
-
Even still, I'd rather Theodore get the nod tomorrow night. Sick or not, he's playing with zero confidence and the Wings offense is playing with every bit of it.
-
Nah, he only played in 76 games compared to Brodeur's and Nabokov's 77.
-
nm....nice play by Barnes.
-
Case and point: Brodeur
-
Especially the way he *tried* to get back to the post. You know your opponent has the puck behind you......and you slide back pretty square? He should've brought his leg back and tucked it behind the goal post rather than trying to move the majority of his body back giving the Star a target to shoot at.
-
I'm not disagreeing with you TMI. They move the puck plenty well and get plenty of scoring chances (which is a direct result of all the weapons they can throw out there for the 2 minutes), but their problem always seems to be finishing. They get a wide open look or the goalie moving side-to-side, and just always find a way to do anything but bury it.

Dallas ties it at 1......Stevie Y style.

Dallas is very good at holding the puck when they need to. They do a great job of holding the zone simply by not panicking when they're pressured.
